Hello again! Thanks for the responses!!
I've been kind of curious as to what the real j.o.b market is really like? You read so many topics/articles regarding " how hard it is to find a job!"
Personally, if your a successful person here you'll be successfully there, because there you are! You know what I mean.... "It doesn't matter where you go, cause there you are!"
Most readings just seem so negative. So I guess my questions is....is there an actual job market, and if so if your not "sponsored" by an outside company, can you really expect to find a job an get the required visa to work if your willing to get after it!!!! Have a great day!!!
Thanks again:)

Why not try and become an English teacher? That's what I'm going to do in Guadalajara next year. You must have your TESOL certification - I took my course online. Took me 3 or 4 months. However, there are many places in Mexico where you can obtain such a certificate. Otherwise, unless you're transferred by a company, you're kinda out of luck! Unless you have a lot of savings to live off of for a while. The govt. will not give you a job that one of ther Nationals can do themselves. Not to be negative, just realistic. Buena suerte! (Good luck!) And take Spanish classes!

The OP might suggest what talents, credentials, special skills are possessed that are not available in Mexico. A career teaching English doesn't seem appropriate for this person. The job market is dismal in the tourist industry, as elsewhere, and workers in PV are complaining. The economy and other factors have really hurt them.
So, the OP would be better to find employment with an international company which might have the option of a transfer to Mexico and sponsorship for a working visa. It would be much easier that way.
