Im driving to San Pancho....now whats the deal with leaving then coming back. in 6 months..can I do it next day??.that 400.00 fee for my car do i get refund and then redo it or just let it ride till I leave or stay for good?? ok ill have Mx insurance do I have to have State side Insurance too...really confused on that....ill not have an address in the states anymore....roving retirement>>>>so do I get a mail service....

You can attempt the 6 month shuffle. It has usually worked for most everyone. You car has to leave Mexico to get your $400 refunded. Then you can apply for a new TIP with your new FMM.

You will need to maintain a US address in order to keep your vehicle registered and insured. Call the Clay County Treasurer in Vermillion, SD. You can re-title your car there with a US mailing address and your SS#.
