anyone use skymed or another air ambulance service?looking for pros and cons

You would have to be stabilized to fly, so would already have been hospitalized in any serious situation and probably able to go home to recover. So, why bother?
Major private hospitals in Mexico are excellent. I have found the care better than in the USA, in fact. We never considered any evacuation plan, nor did we know anyone else who did.

i have been using skymed for a few years now .we spend the winters in southern mexico and the care where we are is not all that good.we just wanted a back up plan in an emergency.anyway i called skymed to renew my policy last week.the phone rang for awhile and someone finally picked up and hung up immediately.this happened twice. i emailed them and i got this response
