The first banking thread became a little lengthy, and repetitive, but did offer some good info from the participants. What I don't get is the hostility. Why do people have to be always right, the authority, or the last word, and then get into a forum argument. Just express your opinions, your experience, and your speculation. The readership is intelligent enough to pursue, and ferret out the truth. If a reader takes anybody's word on any issue without due diligence, they deserve to get burnt. Also, if a reader takes issue with a poster, it is not necessary to call them out. Just post your view and move on. Just keep scrolling, and reading, and don't try so hard to be offended.

Actually the readership is easily led down the wrong road by posters that act like they have a ton of recent experience. There is plenty of BAD advice from certain posters on INM issues (if you are thinking of living in Mexico go get your resident visa first thing), safety issues (is this area safe?), medical issues (better and cheaper), selling a lifetime worth of your possessions (you can replace everything in Mexico) and many others things newbies are trying to figure out. Certain posters give advice freely but that doesn't make that advice correct.

What is your point, LongtimeLuker? Not clear.

We're on the internet, CozumelDeb, where everyone knows the Ts all are crossed, the Is all are dotted and every post is both thorough and perfectly researched.

"What is your point, LongtimeLuker? Not clear."

CozumelDeb, the point is there are some posters that have a comment about everything.

Like you Cozumeldeb, ie, somebody asked about purchasing a home in NV and you talked about buying a condo 4000km away, 20 years ago as a snowbird. Relevant? not really.

You never see me posting about medical stuff. I will leave that for people with experience like Monica.

Clear enough now?
