Merida vs Puerto Vallarta

Post New Topic

I would like some input from folks that have spent time in both Merida and Puerto Vallarta.

Actually prefer a semi-remote layed back fishing village with good access to either city for shopping and entertainment

I am presently living near Medellin Colombia for several months each year.

However, thinking of relocating to one of those two cities after the virus situation calms done and hopefully passes. I miss Costco and my car. ;-)

I have been to Puerto Vallarta and other cites but never to Merida

Any information from those familiar with both would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Merida is a beautiful + historical city, for a visit. Drawback 6-8 mos a yr it is HOT + HUMID! Unbearable!
We live in Cozumel, and summer mos are 85+ range but always a good breeze. Good luck on your search.

Lol...ok - looked like a repost since that’s not normal for a thread to regenerate - maybe you can request it be removed...

great choice! I vote for PV because it has everything your need in a city but a layback/town feel.
