Tips for moving to tropics with newborn?

My husband, 3 kids (ages 5, 3, 2) and I are moving to the West Indies in early 2003 and I just found out I am expecting #4 in October. The baby will be about 3-4 months old when we move, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice about looking after newborns in the tropics -- my main concerns will be keeping the baby cool, bug-free, and generally healthy. We live in Vancouver where the climate is mild no matter what the season. Many thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide.
