Best places for expats for avoiding civil and world war

Hi, I'm concerned about the prospect of a civil war in the U.S. and the prospect of a world war in which the U.S. may become involved. I'm interested in recommendations for countries that would have a reduced chance of having a civil or becoming involved in a world war, while still being expat-friendly and kid-friendly. I recognize that the current situation in the U.S. is not dire, but I'm wanting to have my options prepared in the event things worsen. Thanks for any recommendations!
