I have studied and worked in usa now moved to pakistan living in islamabad and karachi, would like to meet male/female who have lived and worked in usa now living in islamabad or karachi. I am 63 and would like to meet persons of around my age.

Hi I just join my name is Shirley 54 I am black american from US from state of Virginia i plan on moving there on a part time basis until I retire, I work in alaska in the fishery on seasonal basis an i plan on doing that until i retire in Pakistan unless something comes along so how is Pak? Salam-gi! wish I had seen this while I was there in October. I am hoping to retire in the land of the pure in a few years but it seems the USA govt really doesn't want "average" americans there - I am not tied to any NGO, but made friends in Ibad and Karachi and trying to decide which is better for relocating. Can you tell me your experience living there longer term. Did you go for job? Do you have family there? Do you speak the language? What is most difficult and most wonderful living there.
