Temporary adress

Hi,
I'm currently moving to Portugal, and I'm able to stay with a friend for the coming 3 months, while i'm looking for an appartment, and trying to get bussiness going (I'm a freelance designer/ArtDirector).

In order to open a bank account, a phone contract etc. I need a proof of adress. I already have my NIF, but the adress is still my Spanish adress, which I will not be living anymore from this month.

I understand that an "official" letter from my host is sufficient to start all the formalities. Am I correct with this assumption, and if yes does anyone have an example of such a letter? The template on this link:...

...apparently doesn't apply to my situation, being a EU citizen.

Thanks!
Mike

I got an account at Millennium with my US address and my NIF number, and a Portuguese phone. I did not have to have a permanent address, but I had to pick up my ATM card at the bank.
