Hello, I live in Braila, have been here for almost two years. I really like Romania. The thing I find hard to accept is service in stores and bars. It seems like everyone hates their job. Very very few servers smile or say hello, it's almost like it's too much work to be friendly. It feels like they they are thinking what do you want here and why are you bothering me when I would rather play with my telephone. Is this just in Braila? What experiences have you had. Just venting my feelings. I try to be friendly but it feels like I am running into a stone wall.

Unfortunately it's true with the service in Romania and the problem is with the employers, hiring unexperienced personnel and do not bother to train them when it comes to customer service. Hopefully they will realise the importance of training in this field soon.
