I saw the story today on "Russian Insider" news link I have on my icons. Click on the story and you can get "He ain't heavy he's my brother." I always liked that song, and never knew many years it was from the Nam era until I saw history photos. It is stated "Private Bank " insiders made large loans to "shell companies", and dumped the bank's remains on Porshenko. There is another story from Brooklyn about some men in Platinum Securities running a ponzi scheme, not Ukraine connected. They were caught before they got the family to Israel. The amusing part was the Feds evesdropped on the phone calls, where one guy said the wife told him to get the kids out, he was on the way to the airport, and how to tell the investors. take care and happy holiday !

An article in Ukraine today says Kolomoisky and friends took 5.6 Billions USD worth of insider loans.
But, this will cost the Ukraine tax payers 20Billion USD to cover the losses.
So why has Kolomoisky not been arrested for Bank fraud? Many news articles reported the missing 5.6 Billions in insider loans 6 months back.
Is he to big to go to prison?

I am not sure why the Ukraine Finance Ministry and the NBU-National Bank of Ukraine would "tell a tall story" like this if it was not true. I seriously doubt Ukraine has 5.6 Billion tp throw away to a fake story!
Let's hope it is fake, because if true, taxes on something will be going up to cover the pay back if true.

I havent seen the original article but I personally have been in a group that was accused of and consequently extorted of funds due an amount ofmoney that had been misappropriated" .The true culprits had to justify a shortfall in their accounts to their superiors. The "20 billion to cover 6 billion" is a red flag and like you said no sign yet of an indictment yet. If true not very encouraging going forward I agree

20Billion to cover 6 Billion, I will assume that's "Interest" on a loan from NBU to Privat Bank.
As many articles that have been written about Kolomoisky over the last 3-4 years. Oil money, Bank money, Private military, controlling Odessa Seaport. Who really knows what is going on....or will we ever know !!

just found couple of articles...the 20 bln is an over all out standing amount including the 6 bln. The entire banking system appears tohave been set up as a rort..and yes your NBU is in on it or atleast several loan officers workingthere. Who has a statute of limitations on financial fraud?!?!?!!? that has obviously been set up as part of the rort. The next part is a deliberately tardy judiciary which guarantees any investigations will not be concluded on time.I cant believe what ive just seen. Only an outside regulator can reform this immorality.Wow one bank owner secured a 300 mln loan against no collateral and the NBU knew his bank was up sheisen creek when they loaned it. NBU reps are in on it. I can see now how it was possible to have become a billionaire in a broke country like Ukraine. "We" started Paying law enforcement and judiciary properly to get on top of this

Because of family and friends in Ukraine, I always hope for the best. But, honestly, this place seems like a lost cause. Wishing and hoping for better fixes nothing in Ukraine. Until some force comes in and throws about 50%+ of Ukraine Government into prison. It will be same old Ukraine.
