Thinking of Moving to Ukraine!

Hi everyone :) I've read some posts others have made about moving to Ukraine. Some have been older posts but I was wondering if anyone knew any work programs or organizations where I could work? I'd love to spend a year or two (or more) in Ukraine but am looking for some work opportunities and which organizations I might be able to volunteer for or work for. I have a college degree and currently work as a professional photographer and videographer. Also how hard would it be to start a business in UA? Thanks! PS I have visited UA twice and spent a week in L'viv and a week in Kiev. Really interesting country, lots of soviet stuff still there!

Hello Going for adventure-- Long story-- Short description: Not many jobs available now in Ukraine-- Those that are pay peanuts compared to USA. Life works well for those of us that have retired, or have a money source! I live in Kherson, Way down south, best weather in Ukraine. I have a Ukrainian wife for 15 years. One can survive in Ukraine for VERY little money--The economy is pathetic with all the oligarchs, and politicians stealing the money from the top! Great place to live, if you can pay your own way. Possibly Photography could pay a meager salary to survive IF you are in cahoots with a Ukrainian Entreprenaur. take care- Kherson Bill.

Hello Kherson Bill!

My name is Kevin & I'm going to be moving from Massachusetts to Nikolaev in January. I work in IT & can work remotely from anywhere. I spent a few days in Kherson this past Sept & really liked what I saw. Maybe we can meet for lunch some weekend & compare notes on living in the region. I'm looking forward to making as many expat connections as possible.
Thx! -Kev
