Hi my names frankie and I plan on moving to Ho Chi Minh in a month or so from southern Cambodia. I felt like i wanted to try my hand at a huge bustling city and Saigon ticks a few boxes. I'm from Germany originally but lived in Ireland for 10 years, Australia for 3 and Cambodia for 3, I'm about 30 :).

Ive been setting up and working in cafe's for about 7 years, and had my own cafe here in Cambodia for about a year,

I'm really not looking for much, a gap in a lane or a garage/front room/market stall/that you cant even sit in but has a nice location, or somebody who would like to open a cafe who might not have the machine or the abilities, but the property and the cash flow (not that selling espresso costs much, the markup can be around 400% in some countries)

Ive been making coffee as a barista since about 2000, I have trained and trained with 3 WBC champions and the heads of the European and American Specialty Coffee Associations and the Coffee Board of America.

I come with my own single group Astoria espresso machine (worth about $3000) and almost 15 years professional experience at a very high quality level, I'm selling my mini Super Jolly grinder to fund the move (worth about $800).
About Me; I'm fairly easy going if not a little strict on how I adhere to my rules for running a cafe, and thats because I run the machine and for everything to run smoothly everything has to have its place, its better not to mess with what works. That said I currently own and run a barefoot espresso bar called S*** Coffee Otres (this site wont let me post the cafe name because its got a banned word in the title, but if you can replace the stars with HIT you will be able to find me on Facebook) or in a dive bar in an expat beach village in one of the poorest countries in the world.

If any of this sounds interesting or you might know someone thats a coffee nut with a cool location please let them and me know. If anybody here can shed some advice or information to help my efforts please reply, thanks in advance

Hi partner:

Reading your story, I'm impressed.

As business development consultant, I'm helping foreigners set up business in Vietnam.

As you're aware, you're setup in Cambodia, you're need Cambodian interpreter/translator dealing with people, government officials and other things. It's same in Vietnam.

I was also restaurant manager, can assist you're running and smooth operation. In Saigon, most foreigners are hanging around district 1, and everything expensive. The space in district 1, maybe run out, It's hard to find a good place.

OK, If you're can meet me in Vietnam, I'll discuss with you in details. Just point to : fernandezjose55[at]gmail.com for fast reply.
