Moving to Lebanon

Hi Guys,
I've been thinking of a change for some time now and Lebanon is my choice. Lebanon has always had an fascination for me, Montreal has lost its appeal, the UAE is to conservative and confining; so I'm packing up and heading your way. Taking a stab in the dark is not new for me and I've always managed to adapt - that's part of the fun. I'm hoping to make new friends, connections, employment possibilities, even small business opportunities .....If anyone can point me in the right directions I would greatly appreciate it. Once I'm there, I won't be coming back to Canada for a while.

Saw your message and I am also moving to Beirut May 11. I currently live in Norway and am from the States. I am moving there to do research and finish my thesis. I am looking to try and make some contacts prior to arrival. Hope to hear back from you

Hello, I am still undergoing the selection process. Once it is settled I need to move quickly. That is why I am trying to find as much info as possible. Have you moved to Beirut?
