Power wheelchairs

Hi, my name is Karen and I am new to the forum. I am planning on moving to BA in Sept, COVID restrictions allowing. I am 70 yrs old and planning on applying for a pensionado visa. My question is this, how common are power wheelchairs or mobility scooters? I can walk short distances with a cane, longer ones with a walker but anything more than 100-150’ is more than I can handle. Then I need either a battery power chair or a mobility scooter. I will be going through a realtor maybe the end of August. To make it tougher, I have 2 chihuahuas. Is there a quarantine on dogs after they arrive? I’ll let the realtor worry about finding me a handicap and pet friendly apt. . Does Costco have mobility scooters to shop on, not to buy, like they do in the States? Lastly, would it be difficult to find someone to clean? Yes I will be alone. I know no one in BA. I love the wide sidewalks and broad aves and the vibe that seems to come across in any YouTube video. Any advice?
