My husband and I - we live in good old South Carolina - and how are Y'all? would like to retire in Vina del Mar, Chile = we are planning to travel there shortly and would like very much to get some feedback from fellow Expats living there presently?

As a beach side community, is the cost of living (rent in particular) higher in Vina del Mar then Santiago? Also, is there public transportation?
