The carnet is really simple.

You dont even need atranslator, the terminology is simple and so similar in both languages

But hey-you are dealing withTrudopes minnions

I could have done the same myself, but they wanted the government certified stamp on it

Only cost 40 mil pesos

As an aside, can I just say how annoying it is that one has to use an Officially Certified Translator to go from Spanish to English. Many such translators are quite incompetent and produce an utterly flawed and almost unreadable translation in English. I had to use one once, and I vowed that if I ever have to use one again I will pay the person's fee and do my own translation, The translator will only have to put his name and stamp on it. There is no quality control of translation/interpretation in most countries, including most states of the US.
I would have a different view about English to Spanish, because the bureaucratic and legalistic terminology of the latter is impenetrable, even for someone with a good grasp of the language.

I easily got a translator on.line in bogota qnd my PCR test and vacvcne certificates were acceptable for Canada immigration.

Unfortunately, my United connection.was late and I missed mu flight into Calgary, so I had to go.by Air Canada through Vancouver which caused other issues I dont want to get into.

Thankfully here in the 'Estados Unidos' you can appoint yourself as fluent in Spanish. When I was doing the visa and later the green card paper work, I had to translate the birth certificates for the family. Nowhere did it say that it needed to be a commercial translator. All I did was include a letter stating that I was fluent in both English and Spanish but noted the 'nuances' in the different Latino dialects. However I asserted that I was able to cover the 'spirit' of the translated paper. This was accepted by Homeland Security 1 1/2 years ago.

Poco, some of these people in Montreal that season tickets for 3040 5060 years, and they will not be able to go see their team play and may be dead by the time they make it back to the finals again. We got our shots. What gives?

pocopelo
  6/25/2021 19:27 EST

@mattinnorfolk, yes limited to 3500 inside the arena but did you see the crowds packed like sardines outside? What a crock of.....

mattinnorfolk
  6/25/2021 17:45 EST

Yes Elex, and love to see climbing photos and insane in Canada now. The Canadians made the Stanley Cup finals for the first time since 1993 a team from Canada has made it, and crowd is limited to 3,500 in whole stadium with distance and no mask. I think restrictions on refreshments. I watch all my Tampa Bay Lightning games and even the New York Islanders are sold out with no mask. Crazy up there since Trudeau.

Yes I know I can do a google search and talk to Notarioes.. I have been in Suesca cimbing most of the day for the last week, and have been doing a multiple other things for my trip to Suesaca, and the fastest and easiest thing to do initially was just send out an email on this forum and see if anyone had personal contacts

These are in Medellin, but I do it all online with them. They are officially recognised. 32,000 pesos a page is what I last paid. They can also send the physical document if needed for a fee, including other cities.

Expat you have been on this forum and all the others since before the diluvian flood. and supposedly are a long term Colombian resident. How is it that you need help here finding a translator? There are dozens at hand on Google. Certified translators are just that. Their translations suffice for many purposes including legal/government. Should be easy...
