Attorney Referral

Hola!

My names Eric and my partner and I are moving from Florida to the southern pacific side of Costa Rica. We will eventually be purchasing a lot of land to build on and are looking for referrals on excellent attorneys with reviews we can read so we know we are in good hands. Any recommendations are appreciated.

We also will be looking for a long term rental and we’re wondering if anyone had recommendations for websites or brokerages or who handle long term rentals in the South Pacific near Manuel Antonio-Uvita-Dominical area.

Hi Eric, This is a slightly off-topic reply. I found your post because we too are looking for a lawyer, but in our case to recover Domincal land our recently deceased brother bought decades ago. Reportedly, the grandchildren of the man who sold it to him illegally tried to take it back, were repudiated in court, but then our brother left CR and declined mentally. It overlooks the Pacific on a road, with many acres including a waterfall. We want to recover ownership and sell the land. No idea yet how simple or complicated this will be, but (a) if you find a good lawyer, perhaps send them our way, and (b) if you are interested, this may be an opportunity to buy land at what real estate people call a triple-D (debt, divorce, death) price. Perhaps send me a private message (I'm new to this forum, but presume it supports PM).
