CORRUPT LAWYER CYPRUS

I am writing this as a warning to all posters. Do not use a lawyer names Michalis V Ioannou in Limassol. He's based at Limassol Centre, 3rd Floor, office 304, Corner Riga Ferou/Griva Digeni Street, Limassol.

This guy has extorted thousands of pounds from my friends whilst they were living in Cyprus. They were referred to him to assist them in a fairly trivial legal issue which turned into a living nightmare for them. They did whilst in Cyprus report him to the Bar Association who merely defended him and then onto the Attorney General who again basically fobbed them off. He wrote an anonymous letter to the police about them after they reported him to the AG explaining they were involved in criminal activities (which they're not) which eventually went ot court. They were found not guilty but not after having spent thousands on another lawyer to assist them. (an honest one fortunately). Michalis Ioannou invents things. He is vindictive, arrogant, a thief, and is corrupt at the highest level.

He has already been struck off the register once before for unprofessional conduct towards one of his Cypriot clients, unbeknown to my friends at the time they used him.

Even his wife divorced him after finding out what a snake he is. He is the biggest lowlife in Cyprus and has made my friends life a total misery. My friend even called at his office and begged him to leave her ill husband alone and he laughed in her face and said that he has only just started. Please be warned about this man.

Incidentally he boasts that he charges £2000 to open a bank account for a foreigner. He believes the English and Russians pay anything he asks. He tells them one price and charges treble to what he says.
