What do I need to Live in Peru?

I want to move to Lima, Peru I just want to go for a month or two. I was wondering how much money i needed to take with me? I want to live comfortable Probaly abotu$100-$250 for rent a month, hot showers, I'll eat out sometimes and make my own food at other times.
I want to stay in the city and have fun with the locals and I'd also love to tour the Inca ruins. Any help would be great.
