Hi everyone, my name is Brian and earlier this year I received my TDIU benefits... I was enrolled in college using the Voc rehab program and I didn't do well adjusting to the curriculum and how my specific class had 80- 200 people. I digress... Basically, the TDIU benefits are P&T(Permanent and total) according to the paperwork.

The current payout is around $3640 a month American. I believe that this also qualifies me for SSDI, I just haven't applied yet. I have not worked since last June and I received the benefits in March. during that time my credit took a hit and I have been working on rebuilding that. I zeroed out my debt, besides the $8000 remaining on student loans. That is all the debt I have. I zero out my credit cards on the 1st of each month when I receive those payments.

I am turning 36 this year and If I do receive SSDI, I don't think it would be the full amount... I think it would be something around an additional $1400 a month if I receive the SSDI.

I've never owned a passport, and I've never left the United States... Yes even as a veteran. So I am trying to learn about the visa process and other things I'll need to know.

I plan on fixing my credit and saving my money planning on a move. Ultimately, I figure it would only take me 1-2 years to complete everything I'll need to complete and save enough funds to get the journey going.

I am looking forward to hearing from all of you and all of the knowledge you will share. Thank you to all! - Brian
