Tutoring/Babysitting

In the US most teachers that tutor and babysit do it under the radar and it doesn't get taxed. Is it the same in Portugal? I am planning to retire after 33 years of teaching primary grades (K-2nd) and would like to tutor on the side for extra money and to have something to do. It isn't essential for my finances. I would also like to volunteer in a local school, but figure that isn't happening right now with Covid since it's not happening at my school where I teach. Please let me know if tutoring is something that people would be interested in and if it's reportable income that doesn't require a work visa.

I was wondering the same thing. My wife and I ran an EFL school in Taiwan for 25 years. It would be a nice way of making some spending money and not have to dig into our savings.
