Looking to Retire

I am looking to retire in the Ukraine, Odessa area here within the next month or two. I have read so many different things on the web and to be honest I am so confused. I could really use some help. I know I need my passport but what else do I need to do in order to make this happen? I plan to do the vida but I'm not sure which ones I need to fill out. I have thought about opening a restaurant there and I know I need to get a permanent visa or citizenship. So any help would be great. Btw the name is Bill

Hey Bill, my name is Ken. I have lived in Odesa for about 15 years. I retired here then, and have travelled back and forth to the usa since. About your visa. You will need a residency permit to make this plan happen. Or an attorney here. Those two options are the easiest. My suggestion to you is come for a 90 day visit, contact an attorney and contact me when you get here. I do have a very good english speaking attorney myself to keep me straight with the Government.. There are a lot of variables in your plan and not knowing them makes it virtually impossible for me or anyone else to give you any answers except come and learn for yourself. If your sure about your plan, I will wait for your call..Send me a message to [email protected] and I will give you my phone number. Talk soon, thanks
