Expats should also be aware that the climate is tropical, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to the mid-80s Fahrenheit year-round. Additionally, expats should be aware that the cost of living in Antigua & Barbuda is relatively high, and that the country has a high crime rate. Finally, expats should be aware that the country has a strong tourism industry, and that there are many opportunities for employment in the tourism sector," commented one expat who made the move to Antigua & Barbuda.
