What do I need to know before moving to Chipping Norton?

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Chipping Norton, they said:

"Chipping Norton is a small market town in Oxfordshire, England. It is known for its picturesque countryside and its proximity to the Cotswolds. Expats should be aware that the town is quite rural and the nearest city is Oxford, which is about 25 miles away. Public transport is limited, so having a car is recommended. The town has a variety of shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as a few cultural attractions. The cost of living is relatively low compared to other parts of the UK. Expats should also be aware that the town is quite conservative and traditional, so it is important to be respectful of local customs and traditions," remarked one expat who made the move to Chipping Norton.
