What do I need to know before moving to St. Cloud?

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to St. Cloud, they said:

"Before deciding to move to St. Cloud, expats should be aware that it is a beautiful and small commune in the Hauts-de-Seine department of the Île-de-France region. It is a very popular place among Parisians for weekend getaways, as it is only 14 km away from the capital and it offers a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Furthermore, expats should keep in mind that the cost of living in St. Cloud is higher than in other French towns and cities of similar size. Additionally, expats should be aware that St. Cloud, while an absolutely charming place, may benefit from lower levels of nightlife and entertainment than other bigger cities in France," explained one expat living in St. Cloud, France, France.
