Additionally, the city is well-connected to other parts of the country by public transportation, making it easy to explore the rest of the country. Expats should also be aware that the weather in Malacca is hot and humid year-round, so it is important to be prepared for the heat. Finally, expats should be aware that English is widely spoken in Malacca, making it easy to communicate with locals," explained one expat living in Malacca, Malaysia.
