Expats should be aware that the cost of living in Tilburg is relatively high compared to other cities in the Netherlands. Additionally, the city is home to a large international student population, so it is important to be aware of the cultural differences between locals and expats. Expats should also be aware that the weather in Tilburg can be unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from hot summers to cold winters. Finally, it is important to note that the Dutch language is widely spoken in Tilburg, so it is beneficial to learn some basic Dutch before moving to the city," remarked one expat in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
