What do I need to know before moving to Wassenaar?

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Wassenaar, they said:

"Wassenaar is a small, affluent town located in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. It is known for its beautiful beaches, parks, and forests, as well as its close proximity to The Hague and Amsterdam. Expats should be aware that the cost of living in Wassenaar is higher than the national average, and that the town is quite small, so it may not offer the same range of amenities as larger cities. Additionally, the town is quite international, so expats should be prepared to meet people from all over the world. Finally, expats should be aware that the Netherlands has a temperate climate, with cold winters and mild summers," replied a member in Wassenaar.
