Summary: Expats, digital nomads and retirees discuss what it is like to live in Dresden, Germany: Cost of living, Finding a home, Meeting People and more.
"Get involved in the school and embrace the community. You can make a difference in helping the school to continue to grow and improve," commented one expat when asked about Dresden International School in Dresden.
"Support your children through this program and remind them that they are able to earn College credit by doing well in the IB program. Our children were in the older program and learned self discipline and did well with the subjects they studied. We would highly recommend this school and especially the IB program and how it is run at DIS," remarked another expat living in Dresden with children attending Dresden International School.
"Do not have high expectations. If your kids are not high achievers and might need emotional and academic support, be aware that the support is negligible. If you are wealthy and powerful family though, things may change, school may even turn into your kids private playground," said another expat in Dresden with children at Dresden International School.
"Although this is an international school, majority of kids are local. This causes problems for native English speakers since level of English tought in school could be lower than in their home country," remarked another parent with kids at Dresden International School in Dresden.
