"Retirees in Queretaro and its surroundings enjoy a high quality of life with a diverse range of cultural attractions, recreational activities, and social life. The affordable cost of living allows retirees to maintain the same lifestyle as they did prior to retirement. There is a large and active expat community in the area, providing plenty of social activities, support groups, and language exchanges. There are also many cultural attractions to enjoy, including world-class archeological sites, historical monuments and museums, art galleries, and numerous cultural events. Recreational activities in the area range from outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and camping, to aquatic adventure opportunities, golf, and tennis. There are also a variety of nightlife options, from lively bars and restaurants to elegant nightclubs and live music venues," said one retiree in Queretaro.
