Summary: The cost of living in Madrid, Spain is generally considered to be quite reasonable. A nice one bedroom apartment in Madrid can cost anywhere from $800 to $1,500 per month, while a nice two bedroom apartment can cost from $1,200 to $2,000 per month. The cost of dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Madrid is usually around $20 per person.

"The cost of living in Madrid is generally considered to be quite reasonable. Prices for basic necessities such as food, transportation, and housing are generally lower than in other major European cities. However, the cost of living can vary depending on the area of the city and the lifestyle of the individual. For example, living in the city center can be more expensive than living in the suburbs. Additionally, the cost of entertainment and leisure activities can also vary depending on the individual's preferences," wrote a person living in Madrid.
