Rent prices vary depending on the area and size of the apartment, but generally range from around €500 to €1,500 per month. Groceries and other everyday items are also relatively inexpensive, with a meal for two at a mid-range restaurant costing around €30. Public transportation is also very affordable, with a monthly ticket costing around €80," said one expat in Berlin.
