There are also a number of real estate agents in the area who can help you find a suitable property. Additionally, there are a number of resorts and hotels in the area that offer short-term and long-term rental options. Finally, there are a number of online resources that can help you find a place to live in The Cayes," said one person in The Cayes.
"I lucked out with a bit of alone research. I found a listing on a Belizean rental site. The apt ended up being in the suburb area, for a 1 bedroom that ended up costing the same price as rent in the center of town and other parts of town usually where the locals live," said one expat who made the move to San Pedro.
