What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Boquete?
We asked expat moms who gave birth in Boquete about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...
"It is important to research the medical facilities available in Boquete before having a baby. Make sure to find a doctor or midwife who is experienced in delivering babies in the area. It is also important to have a plan for the delivery and post-natal care, including a backup plan in case of an emergency. Additionally, it is important to be aware of the cultural norms and expectations for childbirth in Panama, and to be prepared to adjust to them.
