What do expats find most challenging?

Answer this Question

We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Tashkent. They wrote...

"Expats in Tashkent often find the language barrier to be one of the most challenging aspects of the local culture. Additionally, the city's conservative culture can be difficult to adjust to, as it is quite different from many other countries. Furthermore, the lack of public transportation and the difficulty of navigating the city can be a challenge for expats. Finally, the cost of living in Tashkent can be quite high, making it difficult for expats to find affordable housing and other necessities," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
