What do expats find most challenging?
We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Kelowna. They wrote...
"One of the most challenging aspects of the local culture for expats in Kelowna is the weather. The city experiences four distinct seasons, with cold winters and hot summers. This can be difficult for those who are used to more temperate climates. Additionally, the city is quite spread out, making it difficult to get around without a car. This can be a challenge for those who are used to living in more densely populated areas. Finally, the local culture is quite conservative, which can be difficult for those who are used to more liberal environments," remarked another expat who made the move to Kelowna, Canada.
