What do expats find most challenging?
We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Grecia. They wrote...
"Expats in Grecia often find it challenging to adjust to the laid-back and relaxed Costa Rican culture, which is significantly different than the fast-paced lifestyle that many of them have come from. It can be difficult for some to get accustomed to the slower pace of life and more relaxed attitude. They also may find some of the local customs and traditions confusing and difficult to understand. Additionally, getting used to the local language and dialect can be a challenge for expats in Grecia, Costa Rica as many locals do not speak English and the language barrier can be a hindrance," explained one expat living in Grecia, Costa Rica.
