What do expats find most challenging?

Answer this Question

We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Pasay City. They wrote...

"Expats in Pasay City often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. The language barrier can be a challenge, as English is not widely spoken. Additionally, the local customs and etiquette can be difficult to navigate, as they are quite different from those of other countries. Furthermore, the traffic and public transportation can be overwhelming, as the roads are often congested and the public transportation system is not always reliable. Finally, the cost of living can be high, as prices for goods and services can be quite expensive," remarked another expat who made the move to Pasay City, Philippines.
