"One of the most challenging aspects of retiring in Nassau is the cost of living. The cost of housing, food, and other necessities can be quite high, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. Additionally, the cost of healthcare can be expensive, and the availability of quality medical care may be limited. Furthermore, the language barrier can be a challenge, as English is not the primary language spoken in the Bahamas. Finally, the climate can be difficult to adjust to, as the temperatures are often quite hot and humid," wrote a member who made the move to Nassau, Bahamas.
