"Living in Tianjin compared to the United States can potentially save a person a lot of money, as the cost of living in the Chinese city is generally much cheaper than that in the United States. Common costs such as transportation, food, housing and other necessities are usually much less expensive in Tianjin than they are in the U.S. Additionally, the level of salaries and wages tends to be quite low, resulting in a high value for money in the city.
