Will I save money living in Luxembourg?
We asked expats if they save money living in Luxembourg. They said...
"Living in Luxembourg will most likely be more expensive than living in some other European countries, due to its high cost of living. However, the income tax rate in Luxembourg is amongst the lowest in the whole European Union and the country also benefits from lower VAT rates in comparison to many of its neighbours. Overall, living in Luxembourg might be more expensive, but this could be offset by the low level of taxation. Furthermore, the high salaries in Luxembourg make it easier to afford the higher cost of living," said another expat in Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
