Eating out is also quite affordable, with local street food being particularly cheap. Transportation costs are also low, with affordable public transportation options and inexpensive taxis. Owning a car can be more expensive due to the cost of petrol and maintenance. Healthcare is relatively cheap, especially in public hospitals, although many expats choose to have private health insurance for more comprehensive coverage. Overall, the cost of living in Hue is low, making it an attractive destination for expats and retirees.
