"The cost of living in Berlin is generally considered to be quite affordable compared to other major cities in Europe. Rent prices vary depending on the area and size of the apartment, but generally range from around €500 to €1,500 per month. Groceries and other everyday items are also relatively inexpensive, with a meal for two at a mid-range restaurant costing around €30. Public transportation is also very affordable, with a monthly ticket costing around €80," remarked another expat who made the move to Berlin, Germany.
