Eating out at restaurants is also quite affordable, with meals costing around $3-5 USD. Renting an apartment in the city center can cost around $200-300 USD per month, while renting a house outside of the city center can cost around $100-200 USD per month. Utilities such as electricity and water are also quite affordable, with monthly bills typically ranging from $20-50 USD," remarked another expat who made the move to San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala.
