What are healthcare services like in Abidjan?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Abidjan. They wrote...

"Healthcare services in Abidjan are generally of a good standard, with a range of public and private hospitals and clinics available. The public healthcare system is largely free, although there are some fees for certain services. Private healthcare is also available, with a range of modern facilities and highly trained medical staff. The city also has a number of pharmacies, providing access to a wide range of medications. In addition, there are a number of health centers and clinics providing basic medical care and health education," said another expat in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
