What are healthcare services like in Nairobi?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Nairobi. They wrote...

"Healthcare services in Nairobi are generally of a high standard, with a range of public and private hospitals and clinics available. The public healthcare system is largely free, although there are some fees for certain services. Private healthcare is also available, with a range of hospitals and clinics offering a variety of services. The quality of care in both public and private facilities is generally good, although there are some disparities in the quality of care between the two. In addition, there are a number of NGOs and charities providing healthcare services in the city, particularly in the slums," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Nairobi, Kenya.
