Is there a lot of crime in Ottawa?
We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...
"Ottawa is generally considered to be a safe city, with crime rates lower than the national average. However, like any other city, there are areas where crime is more prevalent. Violent crime is relatively rare, but property crime such as theft and vandalism is more common. The Ottawa Police Service works hard to keep the city safe and has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce crime," commented one expat who made the move to Ottawa, Canada.
