Is there a lot of crime in Bali?
We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...
"Bali, experiences its share of crime, like any other tourist destination. The most common crimes in Bali are petty theft, pickpocketing, and bag snatching, which usually occur in crowded areas and tourist hotspots. Scams and credit card fraud are also prevalent, targeting unsuspecting tourists. Additionally, drug-related crimes and occasional violent crimes, such as assault and robbery, have been reported. However, the local authorities and police are actively working to maintain safety and security for both tourists and residents," remarked another expat who made the move to Bali, Indonesia.
