"Orleans is a great place for expats and digital nomads to live. The city is full of culture and history, and the locals are friendly and welcoming. The cost of living is relatively low, and there are plenty of affordable housing options. The city is well-connected to the rest of France and Europe, with excellent public transportation and easy access to airports. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars to explore, and the city is full of parks and green spaces. Orleans is a great place to live for those looking for a slower pace of life, with plenty of opportunities to explore the local culture and history," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Orleans, France.
"Since we are retired, our lives do not revolve around a job or company. We socialize with our neighbors and have developed some very close friends among them. Of course, it helps if you speak French. We socialize with families with children although we don't have children ourselves. There isn't any problem with that," commented one expat who made the move to Orleans, France.
